Before joining Wellness Professionals at Work, I had recently started facilitating a men’s group, a group that I had been attending for several years, and which is a heart-sharing men’s group in which men meet twice a month to share, feel heard, listen to each other, and support each other. I had experienced tremendous benefit personally from the men’s group over the years, and was keen to upskill myself to support the quality of my facilitation.
I was also interested in finding ways to move professionally into the wellbeing space. I have been involved with many more informal (usually unaccredited) personal development practices over the years, of varying degrees of quality, and I wanted to explore working towards a professionally recognised and respected qualification within the wellbeing sector.
The moment I discovered Wellness Professionals at Work, I knew I had found the right guide for my journey.
