After spending years in high-pressure corporate environments, I began to feel that my career no longer aligned with who I truly was. I longed for a change—something that resonated more deeply with my values and aspirations. Coaching had been a small but enjoyable part of my previous role, and it felt like the natural path to pursue as I considered my next steps.

I wanted a fully accredited diploma, and WPAW’s credentials were exceptional. I was impressed by the course structure, which included a balance of independent learning, group skills workshops, and case studies. After a couple of email exchanges, I knew I had found the right fit.

The skills workshops proved to be a game-changer for me. They offered a supportive and safe space to experiment, refine my techniques, and receive valuable feedback. Being surrounded by an incredible group of people who were all on similar journeys gave me the confidence to envision coaching as a viable career path.

I had done extensive research online, but speaking directly to Jo,  who truly understood my goals and aspirations put me at ease. That conversation gave me the confidence to take the leap and enrol in the programme.

Completing the course has been transformative in every sense. Initially, I thought I might use my coaching skills to complement my corporate role and work with a few private clients on the side. However, the course—and the ongoing group coaching that followed—empowered me to fully embrace coaching as a career. Today, I am a full-time Life Coach with a full client diary. I’ve built a career that allows me to live and work on my own terms, doing something that feels deeply meaningful.

One of the unexpected yet pivotal aspects of the programme has been the continued group coaching offered by Jo after graduation. These sessions have provided invaluable insights into marketing, networking, PR, money management, brand clarity, collaboration, and customer care. This ongoing support has been instrumental in helping me navigate the business side of coaching while continuing to grow and refine my practice.

If you’re considering joining Wellness Professionals at Work, my advice is simple: go for it! Whether you’re looking to enhance your skills or transition into a full-fledged coaching career, the programme offers a high-quality, well-rounded education. With extensive support during and after your studies and a vibrant, welcoming community, it’s an experience I’m incredibly grateful to be part of.
