I am a strong, vivacious, slightly quirky woman who is also a registered midwife, midwifery lecturer with thirty years experience, as well as being a wife, mother, daughter, and friend.
Over the last 6 years, I have been on an intense personal journey of investment in my growth and wellbeing and committed to living a life that aligns with my personal values and interests. This has meant letting go of expectations, people pleasing, and embracing a new way of living.
I place a great emphasis on the importance of having joy in what you do, and I realised that my joy came from empowering and working with others. I decided to invest in retraining and, after much research, found Wellness Professionals at Work. I was drawn to the programme because of the authenticity and variety of the content, the hybrid approach of both online and face to face sessions and the alignment the material had with my own values and vision.
I have now qualified as a Holistic Life Coach having studied the Diploma in Holistic Coaching. The course was unlike any other course I had ever studied, it was informal, encouraged self-reflection and was delivered in an outstanding way. The level of flexibility meant that I was able to fit this in whilst working full time in a demanding role and juggling my other life responsibilities.
The tutors were approachable and very well informed. Jo, the Company Director, has such a lovely, supportive manner, which contributes to you feeling relaxed and capable. The combination of self-directed learning, facilitated workshops, and case studies enabled me to gain confidence and skills in coaching. In addition, I also gained a sense of belonging and connection, and I had found my vibe and my tribe, which was such a delight.
I had never had any doubts that I had taken the right direction; coaching is the path for me. Wellness Professionals at Work is an outstanding, professional coaching provider. Training to be a life coach with Wellness Professionals at Work is one of the best decisions I have made.
